These Terms of Use govern your use of Travel Record Manager, developed and published by Inayatullah Khache. By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Purpose of the app
Travel Record Manager is a personal organization tool for recording and reviewing travel information, including itineraries, transport, accommodation, loyalty accounts, directories, attachments, reports and backups.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of agreeing to these terms. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the app only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Not an official travel or emergency service
The app does not issue, verify or replace tickets, boarding passes, passports, visas, permits, insurance documents or confirmations supplied by airlines, railways, hotels, governments or other providers. It is not an emergency, immigration, legal, medical, security or travel-advisory service. Always rely on official documents and confirm current requirements directly with the relevant provider or authority.
4. Accuracy and user responsibility
You are responsible for entering, importing and verifying your information. The developer does not guarantee that user-entered records, reference directories, schedules, contact details, embassy information or calculated reports are complete, current or error-free. Do not rely on the app as the sole source for time-sensitive, legal, immigration, health, safety or emergency decisions.
5. Storage, backups and recovery
The current app is offline-first and stores its records locally on your device. You are responsible for creating regular backups, confirming that backup files can be opened, and protecting exported files.
You may choose to save or share a backup using a third-party service such as cloud storage. Such a backup remains under your account and the third party's control. The developer does not receive, possess or have access to locally stored records or user-controlled third-party backups and therefore cannot view, retrieve, restore or recover them. A third-party provider may be able to assist under its own terms.
Clearing app storage, deleting a backup or uninstalling the app may permanently remove records. If a future version offers a developer-operated cloud service, that service will be governed by updated terms and privacy disclosures.
6. Security and sensitive information
You are responsible for securing your device, accounts, attachments and backups. Do not store account passwords, payment-card security codes, authentication tokens or other secrets in notes, remarks or free-text fields. The developer is not responsible for access caused by an unlocked, compromised, shared, lost or stolen device, or by insecure handling of exported files.
7. Acceptable use
You may use the app for lawful personal purposes. You must not misuse, reverse engineer, disrupt or attempt unauthorized access to the app; introduce malicious code; circumvent security features; impersonate another person; infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights; or use the app to create, store, transmit or process unlawful, fraudulent, harmful or unauthorized material.
8. Personal and third-party information
Only enter, import or attach information that you own or are authorized to use. If you record another person's information, you are responsible for having a lawful basis, obtaining any required consent, providing any required notice, respecting that person's rights and keeping the information secure. The developer does not review or control user-entered content.
9. External services and links
The app may open third-party websites, email applications, file pickers or Android sharing services at your request. Third-party services are independent and governed by their own terms and privacy policies. The developer is not responsible for their content, availability, security or practices.
10. Intellectual property and licence
The app's name, design, code, branding and original content are owned by Inayatullah Khache or used under applicable licences. Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable right to use the app for its intended personal purpose. These terms do not transfer ownership of the app or its intellectual property. Your own records and attachments remain yours, subject to any rights of third parties.
11. Availability, compatibility and changes to the app
The app may be updated, corrected, modified, restricted, suspended or discontinued at any time. Features, directories, compatibility and device requirements may change. The developer does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, continued support for every device or operating-system version, or correction of every error.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the app and its reference information are provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, availability, security or freedom from errors or harmful components. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential loss; loss of profit, opportunity, goodwill or data; travel disruption; missed transport or accommodation; denied boarding or entry; immigration, visa or regulatory consequences; emergency-response delay; charges, penalties or third-party claims arising from use of, inability to use, misuse of, or reliance on the app.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer's total aggregate liability relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid, if any, for the app during the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct or any other matter protected by mandatory law.
14. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold the developer harmless from third-party claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the app, your violation of these terms, your infringement of another person's rights, or information and attachments that you enter, import, store or share without proper authority. This provision does not apply to the extent a claim results from the developer's own fraud, wilful misconduct or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Events outside reasonable control
The developer is not responsible for delay, interruption or failure caused by circumstances outside reasonable control, including device or operating-system failures, internet or electricity outages, cyber incidents, third-party service failures, natural disasters, government actions or changes by platform providers.
16. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. Your right to use the app ends if you materially breach these terms. Provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and applicable law continue where legally appropriate.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country of residence. Any dispute will be handled by a court with lawful jurisdiction. Before starting formal proceedings, the parties should make a reasonable effort to resolve the matter through the contact address below.
18. Severability, waiver and entire agreement
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any mandatory platform terms, form the entire agreement concerning use of the current app and replace earlier statements on that subject.
19. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated to reflect app, legal or operational changes. The updated version will show a revised date and will be made available in the app or on the official website. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law; where additional consent is legally required, it will be requested.
