Travel Record Manager (“the App”) is an offline-first Android application developed and published by Inayatullah Khache (“the Developer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you install and use Travel Record Manager. We are committed to respecting your privacy and being transparent about the App’s data practices.

1. About Travel Record Manager

Travel Record Manager helps users organize and maintain personal travel information, including itineraries, transportation details, hotel bookings, traveler profiles, visited locations, loyalty memberships, attachments, directories, reports, backups and exports.

The App is designed to operate primarily offline. It does not require users to register an account or sign in to an online service operated by the Developer.

2. Information You May Enter

Depending on how you use the App, you may choose to enter or import information such as:

• Full name
• Nationality
• Home city
• Contact details and emergency-contact information
• Travel dates and destinations
• Flight, train, bus and car journey details
• Airlines, train operators and transport providers
• PNRs, booking references and ticket numbers
• Hotel names, booking references and stay details
• Seat, baggage and travel-preference information
• Loyalty-program names, membership numbers, tiers and points
• Embassy, consulate, airline and transport contact information
• Notes and remarks
• Images, PDFs, tickets and other attachments
• Information imported from CSV, Excel or JSON files

You decide what information to enter, import, attach, export, share or delete.

3. Local Storage

Travel records and other information entered into the App are stored locally on your Android device using the App’s private local storage.

The Developer does not operate a cloud database for Travel Record Manager and does not automatically receive, access or store the travel information you enter into the App.

Information remains on your device until you:

• Edit or delete individual records;
• Use the App’s erase-data function;
• Clear the App’s storage through Android settings; or
• Uninstall the App.

Downloaded backup and export files are stored separately on your device and may remain after the App is uninstalled. You are responsible for deleting those files when they are no longer required.

4. Information We Collect

Travel Record Manager does not automatically transmit your personal travel records to the Developer.

The App does not currently include Developer-operated:

• User accounts;
• Cloud synchronization;
• Advertising services;
• Behavioural tracking;
• Marketing trackers; or
• Analytics services.

If these practices change in a future version, this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data Safety declaration will be updated before the relevant version is released.

5. Backup, Export and Import

The App allows you to create and use files such as:

• JSON backups;
• CSV exports;
• Excel files; and
• Attachments or other user-selected files.

Backups and exports are created only when you initiate the relevant action.

On supported Android devices, downloaded files may be saved in:

Files stored outside the App’s private storage may be accessible to you, other applications that you authorize, device-management services, backup services or anyone who gains access to your device.

You are responsible for protecting exported files and choosing appropriate storage and sharing destinations.

6. User-Initiated Sharing

Travel Record Manager may allow you to share a backup or exported file using Android’s system sharing interface.

The App does not select the recipient or destination. Information leaves the App only when you intentionally select a sharing service, application, person or storage destination.

Once you share a file, the selected third-party service handles it according to its own terms and privacy policy. The Developer is not responsible for how a recipient or third-party service stores, uses or shares information you voluntarily provide.

7. Attachments

You may choose to attach files such as images, PDFs, tickets or booking confirmations to your records.

Attachments are stored locally as part of the App’s data. Large or sensitive attachments may increase privacy and storage risks.

You should not store information in the App that you are not comfortable keeping on your device. Avoid storing banking passwords, payment-card security codes, account passwords or other highly sensitive credentials.

8. Data Security

Travel Record Manager uses Android application storage and security controls to help restrict access to its local data.

However, no device or storage method can guarantee absolute security. The App’s local records and exported files should not be treated as a substitute for encrypted password-management, identity-protection or secure document-vault services.

You are responsible for protecting your device by using appropriate measures such as:

• A secure screen lock;
• Device encryption;
• Current Android security updates;
• Trusted backup locations; and
• Care when sharing or transferring files.

Exported backups and CSV or Excel files may not be encrypted. Anyone who obtains those files may be able to read their contents.

9. Internet Access and External Links

The App is designed to provide its core record-management functions offline.

Travel Record Manager may contain links to external websites, email services or contact resources, including the Developer’s website and third-party airline, embassy, transport or loyalty-program websites.

When you open an external link, your browser or the relevant third-party service may process information according to its own privacy policy. The Developer does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites or services.

10. Google Play Services

Google Play may process information relating to App downloads, installations, device compatibility, security, crashes, performance and Play Store activity under Google’s own terms and privacy policies.

This processing is controlled by Google and is separate from the travel records stored locally inside Travel Record Manager.

11. Data Sharing and Sale

The Developer does not sell, rent or trade the personal travel information stored in the App.

The Developer does not automatically share your locally stored travel records with advertisers, data brokers or other third parties.

Information may leave the App only through an action you initiate, such as exporting a file, creating a backup, opening an external link or sharing information through Android’s system sharing interface.

12. Data Retention and Deletion

Locally stored information remains on your device until you delete it.

You can manage your information by:

• Editing stored records;
• Deleting individual records;
• Using the erase-all-data function;
• Clearing the App’s storage through Android settings; or
• Uninstalling the App.

Before clearing storage or uninstalling, create a backup if you want to retain your records.

Uninstalling the App generally removes its private local data, but it may not delete files previously exported to the Downloads folder, another application, external storage, cloud storage or a backup service.

Because the Developer does not receive or maintain a copy of your locally stored records, the Developer cannot recover lost records or remotely delete information stored only on your device.

13. Children’s Privacy

Travel Record Manager is a general travel-management utility and is not designed or directed primarily toward children.

The Developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App. Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising a child’s use of the App and any information entered or shared through it.

14. International Users

Travel Record Manager may be made available in multiple countries and regions.

The App’s primary data-processing activity occurs locally on the user’s device. Users are responsible for complying with applicable laws when recording, storing, exporting or sharing personal information relating to themselves or other individuals.

15. Your Choices and Responsibilities

You control the information stored in Travel Record Manager.

You can:

• Choose what information to enter;
• Review and edit your records;
• Delete individual records;
• Erase all locally stored App data;
• Create backups;
• Export information;
• Choose whether and where to share files; and
• Stop using the App at any time.

Do not enter another person’s personal information unless you have an appropriate reason and permission to do so.

You are responsible for maintaining secure copies of important backups. The Developer cannot recover data that exists only on your device.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App’s functionality, legal requirements or data practices change.

The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the App, the Google Play listing or another appropriate method.

You should review this Privacy Policy periodically.
